Being the change I desire to see in our world!
It's your boy with the joy, Double D J, DirtyDANKJersey. The NJ Gasquatch, the Puerto Rican Sasquatch.
My given name is Jon Frank. I have 8 years of recovery under my belt. I started battling cancer in High School and lost my scholarship opportunity for football when I had to undergo chemotherapy and radiation over a 2 year period.
During that treatment, meant to save my life, I was also exposed to the chemicals I became addicted to which almost ended my life.
Over a decade I battled with opiate addiction going in and out of jail and rehabs.
Thanks to a loving family and mother who wouldn't give up on me, I found myself
surrounded by recovery resources that my mom kept trying to get me to participate with.
Even though I was only going through the motions in the beginning, years of
attending NA meetings allowed some of the real messages to permeate. I began developing healthy relationships with people that weren't toxic. I found a sponsor who made me realize how special I am and how many people I could help with my story and passion.
As I was going through recovery I was involved in several severe car accidents. I ended up having to get my spine fused and needed a way to cope with the pain and inflammation that wasn't opiate based. That was when I started to explore cannabis and its wonderful abilities to heal.
I flew out to Washington state to meet a long time friend and expert grower. He showed me
everything from seed to finished product. I was shown bubble hash and how they make their hash rosin. I was given so much wisdom and knowledge it sparked a deep passion in my belly to share this resource with all those who need to have a quality of life without pain meds. Over the next few years I began cultivating relationships with all local plugs, vendors, and cannabis sources here in NJ and NYC. I would attend any underground event I could find and meet clients and vendors alike while sharing
my thoughts and asking questions. I started to see ways to earn a living while also supporting my passion to share my story and guide the lost souls stuck in hopelessness and addiction back to the light.
I created a small dab bar concept and would get hired by vendors all over the east coast to set up at their table and attract clients and new faces. This little endeavor started to get me well known on the streets of NYC and NJ alike. People really enjoyed coming to take a dab and converse about the science with me. I helped many people elevate their knowledge pertaining to dabbing and concentrates. Most folks who chat with me start to use much more discretion when procuring their cannabis products. Most people end up putting down BHO forever and start seeking solventless products.
Now I see more so than ever a need for healing, sharing knowledge, and judgement free places to engage with like minded folks. COVID protocols have caused a huge divide in society. More than that these separation guidelines have caused a great deal of mental illness and added overwhelming stress to many peoples lives.
I want to create cannabis friendly meetings where people can come together and share their hope, truth, and healing wisdom.
I have started to seek some venues to host cannabis friendly meetings. I believe we can make a community resource where folks can consume cannabis and be with like minded individuals in a relaxed state enabling them to share and really find others to relate to. This is also a great place for people to share recipes and methods of creating their own at home remedies. Please feel free to contact me, using the Contact page, if you would like
to help create this community or provide a location for people to come meet at.
I have some unique skills learned along my journey on this blue marble. I studied E-Commerce and Web Design at Anthem Institute which also enabled me to learn Adobe Premier Pro CC and other editing software. I became acquainted with DSLR cameras and imaging software. My professors recognized my eye for photographs and videography quick. They made sure to nurture my small flame into a burning fire.
After college I realized the industry was swamped. I decided to use my talents as a contractor to earn a living for several years. I became a home builder, assistant carpenter and electrician, painter, roofer, HVAC tech, garage door installer, part time plumber, heavy equipment operator, landscaper, and boiler operator.
Now I am training to get my Blackseal license and will always know my building from the foundation up.
I was a former EMS volunteer for 22 Whitehouse Rescue. I would ride on EMS and RSU calls in 2005/2006. I was trained to save lives and stabilize critically wounded people. I was given incident command training and leadership role training. I also was a Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator. Being thrown into active shooter and stabbing calls in downtown Plainfield was more than thrilling. Having to execute routines under pressure truly enhanced my overall calm under fire.
Now I desire to use my cumulative knowledge in cannabis. I want to help the people find the truth, not just be sold on the next hype marketing tactic.
I am not defined by my worst days and neither is anyone else. Some of my biggest goals include creating a recognizable “Cannabis Inclusive Recovery” community in NJ. I want to help people smash stigmas and open their minds. The experiences I have endured and lessons I have learned are priceless. I desire to make my cumulative life experience a tool others can access to achieve better lives for themselves.
Manifesting reality isn‘t easy. That’s why so many people are miserable as they assimilate into the system the elite created to trap you. Another goal of mine is to be a sentinel and witness for those who feel alone and irrelevant. I promise your not. I am here to witness your story and listen to what you have to say.
I want to create Cannabis Inclusive Recovery housing here in New Jersey where we can get people off the streets and trained and working in the biggest booming industry in the state! I also want to help veterans who have come home to a world far different from the killing we programmed them to do. I want to help them with PTSD, Trauma, and feeling lost through horticultural therapy and training. We need to treat the men and women who defend or defended our freedom with the most respect and gratitude. If it wasn’t for their sacrifices I wouldn’t be here with the freedom to pursue my dreams. Nor you!
